Whilst allotments and sheds seem to go together, it isn’t actually obligatory to have a small shed on your plot. At a rough guess, I would say that about 20% of plots at Tomswood have one. That said, the ones we do have form a rather eclectic collection. Some look thy have been bought specially, whilst others have been put together from a variety of odds and ends. These latter ones are my favourites, as they have a wonderful mix of textures and colours, as well as a more homely and timeless aura about them.
So here are some of them to enjoy. If you have any suggestions for captions, please add a comment below with them :
- The classic allotment shed.
- Rhapshedy in Blue

- Upmarket classic
- Tiles and tribulations
- Hidden gem
- Recycled recycling? But fun.
- I think that there is a shed in here…
- Shed with wig
- A slightly forlorn shed
- A leaning shed
- Lean too!
- Long service classic
- I couldn’t agree more

“This is the end, beautiful friend
This is the end, my only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end”– Jim Morrison
